A Holistic Approach to a Middle School Expansion for Blue Oak School in Napa

After completing the award-winning historic renovation and addition for Blue Oak School’s lower school (grades K-4), the firm was asked to design and relocate Blue Oak’s middle school to a new site directly across the street from their lower school on Polk Street. This provides a much better opportunity to share facilities, create more synergy between the lower school and the middle school and connect more directly to the community of Napa. The 20,300 s.f. middle school includes classroom space, administration and shared school community space and a new gym.
